Thanks :)

Of course we had to work in absolutely hellish conditions.  Here's a picture that may have been taken by krennon (or could have been Karen - not sure who dared to push the button on the 'blad)

that shot works perfectly and aptly with the JR signature:

That would've been Karen definately wasn't me as I didn't dare touch any buttons on it  ;)

:) In that case I can exclusively reveal that it's out of focus ;)  Srsly, 'blads are a bugger for that until you're used to them.

like the B&W though def looks good, maybe not one to use for publicity though sitting in a bar with a shedload of bottles behind you might give the wrong impression  ;D

You met Natalie, right?  What do you think I was doing in that bar at 1am before the shoot?

That staircase is just brilliant.

WMMFGT is somewhat more mundane. It's a friend's birthday today, and mine next week, so we're having a party tomorrow.

As some of you may know, photography is my 'got too old to lug the kit about' hobby, I was a gigging part time musician for 30 years and although I still play, it's just for me now, and the kit never moves.

Anyway, a party needs sounds, so I whipped the cover off of the old PA and set it up in the 'summer garage' (basically a big car port for three cars), along with lights a whatnot. The PA is good quality stuff, although a little long in the tooth like its owner; 12 channel desk, 750w. I ran a mid range CD player through it and it sounds brilliant.

But it won't sound so good tomorrow, as it will running off of the laptop blundering its way through an MP3 playlist. MP3s, unless of seriously high bit rates are pretty poor. Still, if everyone is well oiled before the dancing starts no-one will notice. I hope. And if they are really drunk they won't laugh at my moves. Better get some more wine in.

I've got a pretty good surround sound going for my PC...also works well with lappy's or anything else. I'm a former musician and songwriter as well. Sound quality is always important to me but the quality on the speakers these days can sound quite good. :)

btw, happy b-day, in case I miss it for you and jinky. :)
