Great Mark Twain Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn shot of the two lads fishing, and the last one very reminiscent of a scene straight from John Steinbeck.

I loved looking at these - apart from the historical interest, for which I am a sucker, there is just something about the colours in the old images that is so beguiling.

Very Grapes of Wrath. Such a surprise when you see pictures of that era and find people were'nt shades of grey but full colour all the time!
