OK I have tried what I wanted to try and though not as dramatic as I had expected, I have what I had hoped to get (fingers crossed). They look good in camera, just transfering to the mac then I will look at them full screen.

I think you choose well this weekend Reinardina. You person image tells a story, the bottle doesn't (for me anyway)

Finding an abandoned, not quite empty, bottle of beer, placed carefully on the edge of the  road, does tell a story. A mixed one, with sad overtones. To me anyway.

To a degree yes put for me it means someone juast cant be botheted to use a bin because they just think someone else will pick up the mess. Which Is a story in itself

English beer is the best though!!

I'm quite partial to the occasional English beer - I was much heartened this week when the local supermarket got Spitfire and Hobgoblin back in stock. My absolute favourite though is Budwar, Czech lager, just love that taste. My thoughts on US and Antipodean beers are unprintable . . but they are redeemed by their more than reasonable wines, even if they do cheat sometimes.

Agree about Budvar. Very nice. Enjoyed this very much on a recent visit to Prague.

My hubby loves real ale - but he's doing 'dry January' and hasn't touched alcohol since new years eve. We were in a real ale pub on Saturday and he as drinking lime and soda, with a face like a slapped bum! haha

Well it didn`t quote go as I planned from start to finish due to time/ problems but I`m in with:

Would have been better with full fat stuff and more time to edit but at least I`m keeping the numbers up. My wife thinks it`s in poor taste - any objections and I`ll withdraw

Poor taste, perhaps - bizarre, definitely. I won't ask how much you had to drink before you came over all artistic.

Bad taste- me!!!! Sad thing is I was sober. Just thought I`d push myself to be more inventive.

Poor taste perhaps, however, had the theme been to enter a documentary style image, would it then be perhaps poor taste? Something to ponder on!!!
