I haven't had a chance yet. Going to a preview in an art gallery tomorrow night; that might give me a shot or two.

Nothing from me this week, camera is buggered and in repairers, wont operate the auto focus on the lens

Worked ok last week so not sure what the problem is, may get it back on Monday all things crossed.

Quenching That Thirst

Cost will be whatever as it has to be fixed but a mate is selling his not so used 7D so got that as a back up if mine is out of the question money wise. If it is then it is going for a long walk off a short pier if you get my meaning.

First preview I attended organised by the council, and sadly no nibbles and no free drinks. Very disappointing!
Light wasn't too good either, so the photos are so-so at the very best. Have to see if I can do something with them.

Chris, if you enter that shot, don't forget to enter it in the gallery.

Jeff, sorry to hear about your camera. Hope it will be repairable, without too many costs.

Chris, got a 7D now, that's the one that has gone wrong, mate is selling his 7D as well so if mine is totally stuffed I will buy his, will have to see what the outcome is, hopefully not too bad.

Will try and get something with the iPhone for the comp but that's a bit of a long shot.

Daughter hates the sight of my camera, so I won't get a chance to look for something else to enter.
Decided to go with this shot, which I took at the preview in the local art gallery.

I had also considered 'The Loneliness of the lone Drink,' but decided on an entry with a drinker, rather than just a drink.

Finding an abandoned, not quite empty, bottle of beer, placed carefully on the edge of the  road, does tell a story. A mixed one, with sad overtones. To me anyway.
