Been meaning to do this for ages, and since it's raining!

I like the idea but I'm not sure that it works. Perhaps I should flip the geese to make them face the other way.  :-\

ABERS

A Triptych of Threes, a great idea. Lucky that the guy in the middle was wearing number Three.

I got a little buzz when I saw them on the harbour wall. I thought "I'm having that!" Ten minutes later the three birds appeared.
It took several years to get another pic to make the set.

ABERS

Been working on a little project, High Key/Low Key, over the past couple of weeks. Not necessarily taking pictures to suit, but using what there is on the HD. A useful exercise on two counts, one, made me look at what is lurking there and eliminating those that are never going to be used, and two using what little grey photographic and photoshop cells I have.

High Key

High Key Lady by abers, on Flickr

I'm particularly pleased with a print of this image, it looks good on a matte fine art paper

Low Key

Chinese Gentleman by abers, on Flickr

Funnily enough the Chinese gent's name is Lo Ki. :legit:

Very nice too. You should be pleased with these.  :)
May the Force be with you.

Yes, the high key lady is very special. I can see her as a beautiful print!

Love Mr Lo Ki's name, but he can't beat the beauty of Mrs Hi Ki.

Just goes to show, again, how the subject influences the pleasure you get out of a photograph.

Here's one to drive the 'purists' mad. Been messing about again with old shots and here's one I've ended up with!

I've come all over impressionistic, either that or the lenses in my bi-focals are scratched!

Reinardina

It's very 'moving,' almost literally so. Or electrifying. I like it.

I too, like to see where the software can 'take' me. Never had this effect though!

You inspired me; must have a go too!

you still working with Lightroom Alan - or do you occasionally pop into Photoshop (or similar)?
The picture has an almost mosaic quality about it - north wiindow for the church of St Abers  ;)
1 body, 1 lens, 1 flash gun, 1 tripod, 1 cable release & 1 filter. Keeping it simple!
(I lied, just got a second lens!)

I don't have (m)any new photos to edit at the moment, so I have been playing with the shots I took of the mime artist.

This is an enlargement of one of the many versions I now have.

Nice one Reinardina, I can see that series of photographs are going to provide you with hours of fun.

You and Alan are making me think that I should be far more creative with my post processing
