Was out this morning.....light was a bit flat, but got a nice shot of an oil rig........not my entry as it's not on theme. So as I travelled homeward along a country road looking for any last minute inspiration, I pulled over into a passing place and looked up.......I won't give it away as I still got to upload it to my drive, but it's amazing what you can miss if you don't look...

Lucky you - light flat  :-\ its duller than dull again here at present; so I may have to think of a new idea  :knuppel2:

Well the weather does not look as though it will lighten up for days here, so I am thinking I have to come up with another idea; unless I get a lucky break  :(

You're looking rather owlish today Andy. Is that to be able to see better in this murky weather?

To come back to the OS; I never had any problems with Vista. It did everything I wanted and more, probably, that I never discovered.

The new one ... I'll have to get used to it I suppose. One difference I have discovered so far: it seems to have a built in spell checker. I get 'warnings' when I make a typo on this site and also on Flickr. That is a positive, as I tend to make loads of typos.

Been out all day, just returned; tired and a little sleepy.  The weather here is extremely dull too; grey damp and too warm to be pleasant.

Realised my 'nightmare' is more than a tad skewed, so I'll try to get that right before I enter it.

I believe it is a Horny Owl Reinardina  :2funny: :2funny:

I need spell checkers as well - English rather than American English - even more so as I seem to have very fat fingers and keep missing the keys or hitting the wrong ones.  ;)

Would OMG be an appropriate reaction?  :o  I didn't know. Does it mean, its eyesight is second to other qualities?   ;)

My brain is (still) faster then my typing, so I tend to skip letters. I also type them in reverse order, which is a new, but very annoying habit.

I have not got a clue, not knowing much about these owlish birds Re. I just thought this one looked quite smart and alert  ;)

Now must get back on track, and see if I can come up with something for "In Your Dreams"  ;)

Couldn't really improve my 'Nightmare' much. Simply couldn't get it the way I wanted.
So I'm in with Nightmare 2, which is slightly less wonky.

I uploaded my dream shot and then realised it was taken last Sunday - the New Year period just seems to merge into one haze - so the dream remains the same, just not such a dreamy way of showing it!

A toughy for me this week, against the poor light, but I'm in with a pair of Pinkpuffs

light was poor up here all day too. Was out for a walk, but took the camera for any chance photo's, but no, very odd light. Was throwing the sensor into all sorts of weird exposures. ???

Yes, the light was bad here as well. I thought a high meant clear blue skys but not in England it seems.  >:(

Sorry no entry from me this week, I have not even taken my camera out of it's bag this weekend.

I managed to get in the garden now that it has dried out a bit after all the rain.
