That sounds as though it's going to be a great day out, with the chance of some good action shots.

He! He! I`m on a roll. After being lucky at Focus I`ve now been told that a colour shot I did in the mist and snow of Roundhay on that magical day has been shortlisted in the Practical Photography Photographer of the Year Landscapes round. Don`t for one moment think I`ll win the D300s with the shots that are up there but it should be printed and listed as a contender at least with my mugshot next to it. Can lightning strike three times? ;) Amazing that the three shots thus far were taken in a 45 minute spell on Christmas eve. I knew it was a magical mist and snow combination for shots but never guessed I`d get this reaction to them. Still got a few left not entered anywhere yet  :D

now you're just being greedy :(

But good luck with it. Why can't things come in threes?

And a lovely photo it is too, Paul!

We've just been to the cinema - "Alice in Wonderland" with Johnny Depp. We thoroughly enjoyed it! I think Depp's great anyway, been a fan since Jump Street. The effects were really very well done. Helena Bonham-Carter was very brave IMO to let herself get done up like that!

We had great fun picking out all the well-known voices behind the fantasy figures.
