Shakleton Bomber

The shakleton Bomber at Manchester Science & Industry Museum. It's free entry too!

I just loved how the light caught the nose of the aircraft, and the underside radar. Adding a sepia just completed the image,

Great shot David. The Shackleton was developed from the Lancaster bomber but was never a bomber in it's own rights. It was a long range maritime patrol aircraft.

A good shot indeed -the Shackeleton was also used by the South African airforce for coastal patrols as recently as 20 years ago!
