Thanks. Yes The daubs are on the mirror I have forgotten to use the healing tool
 It was taken with the D50 which is defunct. It has a thick black line across the bottom of the photo and so I have bought a new one A D80. I don't know how to clean the sensor only the mirror

Get an Artic Butterfly and flick over the sensor - job done.
