OK, the hair is down and apparently full nude on this shot as opposed to hair up. Smoother lines makes for a better image. It is a giventhat i prefer B&W portraits over colour - but also on the colour if you look her right eye (left on the picture) is covered. The reason that is an issue is because her eyes are colured with a very prominent blue which draws you in - but when one is covered like that - it becomes a distraction. Hope that helps in some way. Be nice if others would comment... Oh yes, the toning of the skin is better on this than the other B&W image, works better with the high key effect.

Thanks mate. I'll delete the other Black and white. This is what i joined this site for. Simon said it would help my photography.

I find the twisting of the neck is causing a bit too much wrinkling of the skin and the eyes are very much in the corners of the sockets. The right arm is just peaking behind the hair - I would have prefered it was moved to behind the body so that the strands of hair could be seen against the background rather than the elbow. Skin tones look good on the size of image available (And my laptop which I'm currently using!)

I think it's a cracking shot and composition. Very Happy

Looking at the number of views, it is pretty popular! This is the CC of old, where people asked for, and got, positive critique and advice.
