Weymouth Beach

Another picture from my trip to Dorset - this one of Weymouth Beach.

I've deliberately tried to create that "washed colour" look from photos of the 70's because when i saw this beach, it's occupants and activities - it reminded me so much of that decade.
I'm open to thoughts on how better to improve the aims of this picture if i haven't achieved with this effort.
