Name me Please

This plant has an early blue flower and ends up as photo. My wife Jean can't remember the name but thinks it begins with the letter P. The blue flower is very delicate and star like of around 4-5 cm dia.

OK... The plant has a flower which is like a blue star at FIRST and then ends up later as image. So it go's through two stages, the image is the second stage.
