Golden Pheasant

Spotted this chap in my garden, eating the bird seed I had thrown out. I carefully and quietly opened the kitchen door and fired off a few shots before he spooked.

I must add, this is of course a common pheasant. I added the "golden" to refer to the warm light reflecting off his feathers.

Even as a 'common' bird, it's a lot more colourful that those who would come to my fourth floor garden!
