OK, everyone, get voting  ;)

Not forgetting to keep thinking about this week's challenge - GLASS.

As with last week, the pictures are clickable to the larger image, in case you want to take a closer look.

As usual the poll closes at midnight on Friday.

The theory seems to be that as long as a man is a failure he is one of God's children, but that as soon as he succeeds he is taken over by the Devil. H.L Mencken.

Oldboy

Just voted for jinky's Final Destination, as the blur puts the focus on the cross.  ;D

My picture was for 'The Sundowners', staring Deborah Kerr, Robert Mitchum, Peter Ustinov and Glynis Johns and direct by Fred Zinnemann.

Hinfrance

Thanks OB. I thought of Tequila Sunrise and then my brain got stuck in a loop . .

Poll amended.

Went for Brighton Rock - Thought it was the best representation of a film title. SawwaS a close second IMHO!

picsfor

Most kind thank you. My grand daughter enjoyed the exercise as well  ;D

Hinfrance

Close at the top, but congratulations to picsfor, just pipping jinky to the top spot.

Over to you Andrew for the next one.

Hmm - gosh, blimey - thank you to those who voted for my submission.
I've been without internet since 22:00 Friday night until just this minute so it is a real surprise to scrape in at the post.

I will sort out the threads for next weeks competition but will be going with a thread of 'Lines".
I've checked with a thesaurus and it pretty much leaves a broad offering for composition. Examples: Straight Lines, Curved Lines, Lines of People, Wrinkled Lines and so on.

Not sure if and when this was used but hope this is acceptable to all.

jimthetrain

Well done Andrew. Sweet shot  :D Lines eh, we can't do the obvious rail lines can we ??  ::)
BOOZE!!! Helping ugly people have sex.

Oldboy

Well done picsford for a almost soild rock win!  Great film and simple shot. 8)

Thanks to the two people who voted for mine.  ;D

jinky

Well done picsfor - nice simple shot.
As for lines - i`ll just shoot a picture of me inthe mirror with the lack of sleep I`ve had last 2 night! ;)
