YouTube Shorts Monetization Rules 2023

Since June 2023 you can apply monetize your YouTube Shorts once you have met the following requirements.

• 500 subscribers
• Three public uploads in the last 90 days
• 3,000 public watch hours in the previous 12 months

Alternatively, you can qualify by having 3 million public YouTube Shorts views over the last 90 days instead of the 3,000 public watch hours
