Where to post images?

Okie dokes

first daft question from me  ;D (more to follow)

I have some wildlife pictures that i would like to post. sooooooooo what is the best way to post them to the forum and what are the limits on files sizes etc.

Hi Andy, and welcome to CC.  :tup:  Best way would be create your own album in the gallery call it something like "Wildlife" then upload to that.  Or you could upload to the public album called "Animals & Wildlife"

Usually make my pics around 800 to 900 pixels across seems to fit most screens max file size is about a 1MB but much lower should be fine.

Another option if you have the images hosted somewhere else is to post them in the forums using image tags,  like

Andy, not a problem, just start a new topic in the General section, and ad your pics to that.  Or if it's a place of interest then there's a section for that already.
