CHAT -  DRAMATIC LANDSCAPES - Weekly Challenge 28th May - 5th June 2016


This week's theme is DRAMATIC LANDSCAPES.

I know we have done this before; I have chosen it having been inspired by a recent IOTW because of the pattern of Light on display. Hopefully the weather will favour some dramatic scenery.

Try to be a bit creative in perspective and or editing, but above all have fun.

No restrictions on PP.

Pictures to be taken between now and Sunday  5th June 2016, 23:59. Or from your Personal / Camera Cranium Archives
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23:59pm Monday 6th June 2016.
Poll will be up Tuesday 7th June 2016.
Winner to be announced Saturday 11th June 2016.

The Rules for the weekly competition are...

By entering you agree to take responsibility to

Post a topic on the Sunday (or sooner) following your declared win
Create an entries thread
Create a chat thread
Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted (or earliest archive shot if applicable) wins.

'Or from your Camera Cranium archive'. I thought the new rule was from your own personal archive. This interpretation rules out any new or recent CC member that  hasn't  built up a reasonably sized archive on CC, or any member that has trimmed down his/her galleries in the recent past.

So much for setting a 'Dramatic Landscape' - It has been dull and overcast ever since; For days, and the forecast is for continual total cloud cover, more flat light without a glimmer of sunshine - Fat hope of finding a Dramatic Landscape shot this week and little time to search more recent archives for something exciting that fits the bill.

I'm still holding back a bit, hoping for at least five or more entries. I think I only have one dramatic landscape, and that is already on CC, so I only have to remember to enter it before Tuesday.
