I've bought a new mobile - the new Iphone 3Gs - I have to say, I'm very impressed - seems pretty quick - can't say I've noticed it being slow at all, which I think was a critisum of the old one.

Got some cool apps - like remote control of your Itunes on the PC - so you can sit in the armchair and change the song being played!

And one that calculates DOF etc.

Mark, have a look at Skype (if you use it). For the canon users there is an OnOne piece of software that allows you to wirelessly connect to a PC with a Canon DSLR tethered to it by USB cable and take photos and view them direct on the iPhone. I have only had mine just over a week and am still getting to grips with it too.

Thanks Colin, I don't use Skype - and I have so many minutes I don't think it will be an issue - the only place I could see it being useful is when I go abroad - but if I go for work I use my company phone anyway!

I was aware of the software from OnOne, but I don't shoot teathered so I see little in it for me - however, I have heard that Apple aran't adverse to a direct connection from the phone to say a camera - now that would be useful!

I've not bought any apps yet - I'm still looking for free ones - Suduko is pretty cool as is Fast and Furious - but the best has to be Itunes remote.
