No, but I might take a picture of my left foot, which is swollen and bright red with gout. It sure feels like it's on fire. Then again, I don't want to terrorize anyone.  :o

Then again, the 4th of July is coming up... on July 4th.

Maybe a macro shot would do the trick? Something that would convey the heat, without showing too much detail?

I hope I'll be able to enter this time.

Thanks for the welcome back OB.
I have been taking photos, but did not really get a chance to do any proper editing. Got a huge back log now, and still lots of other things going on, which keep me away from my laptop. But I'm back home, so I will be able to use a spare hour here and there to attend to the back log.

Just edited an even hotter picture than my entry, so decided to change it.

This was taken at the Winchester Hat Fair, an annual festival of street theatre. In this case the flaming car was going to jump over the 'volunteers' laid out in the road. Everything went according to plan, but the 'victims' were a bit apprehensive, as you can see.
And all this was acted out in the full glare of a heat wave sun.

This is now my entry: (Click to see it properly.)

Yes I was in the bushes but it wasn't a zoom poking through the branches!  :P :2funny:

Well I thought fireworks would be much to photograph but someone told me just put it on bulb and hold the shutter open for a few seconds. That seemed to work pretty well and I tried holding the shutter at different timings from a couple of seconds to about ten seconds. Ten seconds was too long but anywhere from a couple to five (and even some at 1sec.) worked well. I used a tripod and a remote release. Here's some more: Gallery
