The Annual Club Exhibition
« on: March 25, 2014, 08:13:32 AM »
The annual Exhibition of The Richmond & Twickenhan Photographic Society takes place at the Landmark Arts Centre, Teddington, Middx. from 9th to 21st April, Easter Monday.

Each member is invited to display a panel of work (up to 6 prints) or submit a selection of 6 PDI's, both on a non-selective basis.

The exhibition usually comprises some 300 prints and the same number of PDI's covering most aspects of photography.

If you happen to be in the area over that period of time please look in and spend an hour looking at what is produced by an enthusiastic and lively bunch of people.

If you pop in on either Thursday 10th or Thursday 17th in the morning I'll stand you a tea and a bun, as I'll be stewarding at those times. Graham I'll pay this time.;)

P.S. Local places to photograph are Hampton Court, The Thames, Deer in Bushey or Richmond Park, Kew Gardens and a little further afield the RHS Gardens at Wisley.

Sadly, won't be attending again this year. Keen to visit one year - but this time my travel budget is taken up with family visits to places east of Teddington.

Could also do with visiting Kew Gardens again as well  :(

Missing the ability to just jump on a train and not have to pay (well 96p from Clapham Junction to Kew Bridge )
1 body, 1 lens, 1 flash gun, 1 tripod, 1 cable release & 1 filter. Keeping it simple!
(I lied, just got a second lens!)

I will try and pop my head in but it will have to be a weekend visit and April is pretty rammed for me tbh..

anyone who is considering going I would urge to just go along RTPS work is ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING (I've gone to a couple of the annual exhibitions) be warned parking is limited, the best idea is to park near Teddington Lock on the other side of the river, cross over the footbridge up past The Anglers cross over the road at the traffic lights and you're there (you can't miss The Landmark it's an old church in fact AHA shot the video for "The Sun Always Shines On TV" in the church)...

thanks I enjoyed meeting up and seeing the photos. I took a walk afterwards to the lock and ended up walking along to Richmond Park which seemed miles further than what the sign post said.
