Digital Photo January (176)
« on: January 07, 2014, 07:37:38 AM »
In issue 176 of Digital Photo on page 84 there is an offer of free Photo Director 4
I have downloaded the software, however once downloaded and installed it just freezes
on main screen and no matter what I do I can not use the software, has anybody else
had any problems with this program ? if so have you got passed it ? if you have how.

Thanks Geoff

Hi Geoff - I have tried Photo Director (version 2) in the past. To be frank it wasn't that impressive. It did run though. Although it may not actually be frozen - it might be automatically cataloguing the images on your computer in the background. Have you tried giving it some time to see if it regains conciousness?

Hi thanks for your reply to the topic, I have left it for around 20 min to half hour, however you say you have used 2
and not thought to much of it, I don't really no if I need it as I have PS 7,  CS 2, Elements 11 and now Light room 5
I think it was just a case of it is free so have a look.
I don't think I will try it again unless I get really board.

Thanks again Geoff
