A  pic of Loanna from last nights camera club studio night. The last time I went to my local camera club was nearly a year ago due to health problems and slight depression.

As soon as I walked in I heared, we are glad to see you and can you set the lights up, nice to know I was missed for something.

I've been photographing the Mistle Thrushes and their nest of three chicks. Today whilst there I saw one of them fledged.  

Is this Mistle Thrush chick about to fledge?


Yes he did and is now telling the parents where he is.


One of the parents with the young fledgling.


Went for a coffee and when I came back the other one had fledged onto a different tree.


I was very lucky to catch this as it can happen anytime. I've been feeling good all day since.
