Took it out today and put it through its paces...oh its fab, its so intuative, the AF is so quick and the whole feel of the camera is quality. Only one down side the either enormous screen or my enormous nose which kept getting make up all over the screen. Protectors ordered. Has anyone come across an extended eyepiece for it yet.

I think you might be wasting your breath (or the ends of your fingers) Oldboy. I think Karen likes cameras that keep locking up with E06 on the display  :legit:

Both of these cameras cost more than my most recent car did, and anyway that's fewer mpix than Nokia's new 'phone.

We all make our choices base on our budget and requirements, and hopefully most of us are very happy with what we have. I know I am delighted with my K5 and Lumix LX5, to the extent that barring accident, it will take the arrival of something truly miraculous and nicely priced for me to buy a new camera in the next few years.

I cant comment on Nikon cameras and wouldnt say anything about them, Ive never tried one. Ive used canon all my life (well apart from when I was young and had a Pentax ME super) Needless to say Im set in my ways now and have never found any down sides to my Canon cameras that would make me change.  :)
