Nope but I have just found a rocket stuck in my conservatory roof. Bloody good job there was another layer of glass underneath or it could have been nasty.

I didn't take any on Bonfire night (its like a bloody war zone round here on 5/11) but took some at a display in the summer. May pop a couple in the gallery.

Cool, look forward to seeing them Andy.   Not really taken any firework pics myself, as I don't own a tripod.  (yet)  ;)

But Coppermine is so s-l-o-w....

To post a pic here I have to
1. Find it.
2. Resize & sharpen (working out what the best size is for the gallery which BTW I couldn't find anywhere)
3. Save to disk
4. Go into Coppermine, create an album and navigate to it.
5. Enter the upload process, find the pic on disk, upload it, caption it.
6. Go back to the album to make sure it really is there and is published properly.

Compare this with Flickr (or my new Gallery 2 install that's a big secret ATM).
1. Browse through Lightroom for the pic.
2. Right click and select "Flickr"

So yeah, I'm lazy.......

But I put one in the gallery just for you  8)

Oooooooo nasty, nasty compression - anybody know the magic numbers to make things look good in the gallery?

I do mine at 1000 x 750-ish. seems ok with that.

Oh yeah - then it recompresses them in the forum.   ::)

Ah - fixed it  ;) - that was harder than it should have been........

lol... Bloody Mac users, always moaning  :D

I use 800 to 900 max pixels across (for a landscape) in all the galleries I upload to.   ;)

Numbers - you expect me to remember numbers???  How's that going to fit with a graceful UI?

Shame nobody's written a Coppermine plugin for Lightroom yet....

Anyway, I think I might just have broken this thread for anybody browsing at "normal" resolutions....

I'll try to behave better in future.  But it's unlikely  :D

Funny you should mention the plugin.  I believe the next version of coppermine will have some nice features, whether this will be one of them I don't know yet.   I'm Gonna go and check.

I took a few late last year at one of the fiestas in Javea. The first is where they fire them out into the sea sideways and then they explode upwards from the water. The second and third are is more typical.
