Some Film Results
« on: October 07, 2011, 06:50:14 PM »
I've been collecting old cameras from Ebay and just got some film back today

Some shots from my Weltaflex Twin Lens Reflex camera, a German camera from 1954-55. Metered from my modern flash meter.

Fuji 160 120 roll film developed and scanned by processing company

Nothing spectacular, just a few from my town centre...

1. Town Hall

2. Shopping Arcade

3. Memorial Gardens

4. Memorial Gardens

I know I say it almost every time this subject crops up, but there is just something about film . .

The lens renders that gravel brilliantly. There's a uniqueness there that modern lenses have had stamped out.

I know we can only view these as scanned images in a digital format but I still feel that pictures taken on film can be called Photographs while those taken on a sensor are really Digital Images and not true photographs. I regret to say it but I used to be a photographer but now I'm a digital image maker.

These pictures just remind me how much I enjoyed being a photographer using film - I might just do something about it......
