JB Had it Sussed

When you read on some forum or other the question "I'm visiting my
Aunt Dora next week in Much Snoring in the Marsh and I'm taking my camera with me. Can anyone tell me where to go to take some really interesting pictures?"

Refer him/her to the link below,

One of the greatest pleasures for me  in going somewhere new, is to get the relevant 1;25.000 series OS map and having a good look to see where may be of interest.
Often when folks find out where I'm off to I get, "Oh you must go to such and such and see the whotnots." Kind of takes some pf the fun of discovery out of it for me.
                                   Miserable git, I know.
                                                       Graham. :)

Build a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day.

I always find 'ignorance is bliss' when out and about. The backstreets abound with possibilities. Besides I can't tell a church with a spire from a convex hill on a map! :-\
