Peru
« on: July 31, 2011, 12:14:32 AM »
I'm in Peru right now.  It's a very long way away but I have many cameras, occasional wifi and free time some evenings.

When wifi and free time meet up I'll be posting stuff to a blog.  You can check it out here http://500px.com/JonathanRyan/blog/

If youre into RSS and stuff you can save checking it all the time by adding it to your Reader account here http://500px.com/JonathanRyan/blog/rss

Day 1 is already up with the story of how I have the most expensive X100 in the world.

It's Guest's round

  Interesting read and nice pics.

" He goes so we don't have to!"

God luck with the trip, and don't worry, we'll be fine.

Great read so far, hope you've recovered from the journey now and can look forward to the rest of the trip Mancu Picu is suppososed to be absolutely fantastic (can't believe my bro went there last year and only took a compact Agggh  :uglystupid2:) although he was there for 6 weeks and was actually there to go to his girlfriends best friends wedding....and he still got altitude sickness so watch out for that.....hope you packed the marmite as well  ;)
Have a safe and enjoyable trip....

Nah "cos' there's a guy works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis"

Unless Glen, Elvis, Michael Jackson, Lord Lucan & Jimmy Hoffer are all running a chippy franchise of course who knows maybe Harry Ramsdens is just a cover  ;)

If he is, we all need to immigrate there. He'd be 107.  I guess 1/6 gravity would be less stressful.  :2funny:

Nope - I'm still in Peru.

The jungle was quite, err, basic and didn't run to wifi.  In Cuzco for a couple of days to acclimatise before trekking to Machu Piccu.  It's nice to be cool.  Or rather it's nice that I'm not constantly pouring in sweat...  Altitude is literally leaving me breathless ATM.

In the jungle you have to use the grape-vine!  :uglystupid2: ;D

Glad you are OK JR and still enjoying yourself.
