...do ITV have Midsomer Murders on a permanent loop....?

Jonathan

Here's a handy one if you don't have a coin.  Turn on Dave.  If it's Top Gear call heads, if it's QI call tails.  Anything else....well coins sometimes land on their edge.

I've been off work for a couple of days with some bug or other. I swear Iv'e seen the same episode of Top Gear 5 times.
There's an episode where they decide to do some road building ( Come on, how hard can it be?) and that's never on!

Anyway, I see your Midsomer Murders and raise you Only fools and horses.

If it's the original BBC version, be happy. They've started an American version here and it's tripe.

And lets not forget with Dave the never ending permanently on Vicar of Dibley and it always seems to be the same bloody Xmas special where Geraldine eats a gazillion xmas dinners....

Now random thought for the day....Why do planes have headlights? I mean what is there to bump into up there.....not like you get blind corners or pedestrians stepping out in the dark..... ???

...why is it that whenever you add to an ebay listing  'uk bidders only'  you  get a stream of people asking if you'll post to countries outside the UK...?  ...every bloomin' time!!

The internet is full of TROLLS, the same people, who 30 yrs. ago used to make crank phone calls. Now they can be obnoxious, anonymous and virtually untraceable.

That would be because there are vastly more items listed on eBay UK than any other EU site, because a lot of people who list 'post to UK only' actually don't realise they've done it (and many didn't even know that it was a default on their account) and because sticking something in the post to most of the EU or the US is as easy as sticking it in the post to the town up the road.

I can understand why people exclude some third world countries (like Italy ;)), but in general why would anyone selling something want to restrict the market for it?

I've done it in the past - normally I don't like doing it if the item has a UK warranty - but I've had some hassle   so I tend to do it on some items and not others - its always a pain trying to work out postage as the final total never seems to have any connection with what you come up with when you check on the Royal Mail website. Furthest I've sent something is Australia - including an Olympus E-400, a camera that was never sold new there and was prized for its Kodak sensor - the buyer just wanted one desperately!
