Only learnt about you all today and immediately made my application. Like Rienardina so happy to see some others from the past from other sites. I'm on my photographic journey with Sony equipment and use CS5. I'm not the best with computers as some of you will know but things can only get better. Looking forward to working with you all.
I live near Brighton and Lewes in East Sussex. Always happy for a meet, family permitting.
Robert.

Hi Robert!

Nice to have a follower (literally!).

I'm not sure I'll ever be able to manage a DSLR, because of the finicky procedures (I've got poor eyesight), but I've got my name down for a Sony HX100V. Have been waiting for ages now. Earthquake etc.

At the moment I've got a Panasonic DMC-FZ8 and I get totally frustrated with the poor results in low(ish) light.

Even DSLR's suffer from this, which is why I upgraded from a Nikon D200 to a D3.

Yep welcome aboard the good ship Camera Craniums,

Nice to see another SONY user as well although I don't have CS5, but use Elements 7 for pp work, currently have an A350 and a bag of lenses most of which are 2nd hand but who cares as long as they work, this is a great site (I too migrated over from PR yonks ago) and we have had a couple of meets so hopefully we can organise another one sometime soonish.....helpful people no bitchiness or nastiness (tongue in cheek comments sometimes but no harm ever meant) and MUCH MUCH nicer than PR.....
