ABERS

Our club, The Richmond & Twickenham Photographic Society, will be holding its annual exhibition over the Easter period. Details are here
http://www.rtps.org.uk/rtps-06/main/EXHIB-POSTER%202011.pdf
A visit to the exhibition can be incorporated with a host of landscape photo opportunities as the venue is only a hundred yards from Teddington Locks on the Thames, with Ham House, Ham Fields, Petersham Meadows, Richmond and Kew Gardens downstream; whilst upstream there is Kingston on Thames, lots of shops, Hampton Court Palace and Bushey Park.

Richmond Park is also nearby.

You are cordially invited to see the work of some 60 photo enthusiasts in a large spacious hall. Make a day of it!

I will definitely try and get along there and if it is anything like last years it will be superb...

Little hint for you all though parking around the venue itself is very limited, I would suggest parking in Ham, walk across the bridge near Teddington Lock (stopping to take photos of course) then walk straight up Ferry Road and across the road and you will see the Landmark that's what I did last year, and I can recommend The Anglers in Ferry Road for a pre or post exhibition

Abers if I can get there I will when are you stewarding (if at all)?
I would recommend all who can, to go along the work on show is stunning and couple of RTPS members are also members of Kingston Camera Club so you're in for a real treat.

Abers I've been given the ticket for the opening night on Weds that was received at Kingston CC, so hopefully I will be attending on the Wedsnesday night for the grand opening, hope you'll be there

Seriously all try and get there if you can, if it's anything like last years exhibition it will be superb and it's in a fantastic venue an old church that as a point of interest AHA used to shoot "The Sun Always Shines On TV" Video all them years ago...

Look forward to sharing a crisp Chardonnay and canapes with you Keith.

More like a cup of tea and a couple Bourbonnes! :legit:

Cup of tea and bourbons definitely as I'll be driving so no alcohol will pass my lips...although I could bus it actually as I could get the 281 all the way there...and pop into the Anglers for a pint or two...no not on a school night tea and biscuits is a better option methinks...

And absolutely superb it is too, had the privilege of going last night and managed to meet up with Alan so got to say hello to him.
The exhibition is probably even better than last years (if that is possible) It is absolutely superb and I would urge everyone to go along if they get the chance.
