Lunar Eclipse
« on: December 20, 2010, 12:22:09 PM »
Lunar eclipse due tomorrow (Tuesday 21st) morning, starting about 6:30, finishing 10:00 GMT. Might be a good opportunity to see it if skies as clear as they are now. Cold though....

Had wall to wall cloud here too.

First time since 1378 that there has been a lunar eclipse at winter solstice - I'll just have to try to catch the next one

I did see a bit of the moon when it was a crescent - but cloud soon covered it - and I was on way to work anyway. :(
