Found 2 of these sunning themselves on the side of my decking, there all day & gone the following morning. Any idea what type of moth they are? they where a good 4 inches in length.

Looks like a privet hawkmoth.

Thanks Harry, they were close to a small privet in a pot so I suppose that is where they came from.

Found this little fellow, I assume its a bee but very small with short legs.

Yep
It  a Mason Bee. Osmia - Cornifro. (100% Cornifro )There are a lot of them and they all have different mame after Osma his look like a Cornifro . It's covered in pollon which doesn't help

And Yep I agree . Top one is  privet Hawk moth
