Some incredible pictures - thanks for sharing this Nick. I think the 2nd one in the series is very effective - it's not as dramatic as some but seeing the little houses dwarfed by the plumes of smoke and ash really brings home the human impact for me.

Forgot to mention my sister was going to USA

My sisters flight to USA left only 30mins late, at least shes on her way there, shes flying to Philadelphia, then on to California, she will be able to see her new grandson, (5 days old) which she is really looking forward to  :)

Our flight is on schedule for Tuesday as we've had conformation  :)
