Does anyone know if there is a way to save (maybe to file) web sites that one has Bookmarked? I've got a whole list of them and don't too much fancy the idea of jotting them all down in a notepad prior to installing a new OS (W7) and subsequently having to reinstall Firefox.

You mean you're not using bookmarks on the Google toolbar?  But that would mean if you used a different computer you didn't have your bookmarks!

Sadly Jonathan - not all of us have signed up for the Google way of life.

Given my wife is of Chinese descent - i'm not sure that Google would be of much use to her right now anyway  ;D

What - is Germany somewhere in the middle of China now then?  :D At least that would answer the question of why everything that I seem to buy nowadays has 'Made In China' stamped all over it..  :'(

The point being that with China and Google having relationship issues - i was having a jest that as a Chinese person my wife would not be able to make use of Google at this current time

And my point was that I thought your wife was of German decent hence the Berlin trip plan?

To clarify.
My wife is of genuine Hong Kong stock - Kowloon i believe.
She spent the first 40 years of her life as the daughter or wife of a member of HM forces based in Hong Kong (8 years), Germany (20+ years), Northern Ireland, Cyprus and Malaya only getting to see the UK after her former husband left the forces. From that, i'm sure you can appreciate why she sees Germany as being her home more than Hong Kong - or the UK for that matter!

All family get togethers involve dicussions about days in Germany - and all trips to see her friends result in much talk about the days in Germany as just about all of her friends were gained during forces days - in Germany!

Cantonese was her language at birth but she can speak German far more fluently now than she can Cantonese and her 'inglis' is right up there with the rest of us.

So now you can understand why she likes any opportunity to visit Germany...

Edit: that first smiley is Chinese which the forum obviously doesn't accept hence it's come out as a smiley plus ? Oh well, I tried.
