This sculpture is along the River Wear at Sunderland. I happened upon him on a bike ride a couple of years ago and he scared me to death! He's HUGE.

Afraid I won't be entering this week. Work been crazy and barely seen home or camera recently. Bad form not to enter my own theme but unavoidable I'm afraid. Good luck to all.
May the Force be with you.

Apologies for having a lame entry this week.  :uglystupid2:

My picture is of one of my modelling guitar amplifiers. In the 'old days' amplifiers had one channel and one sound. Now they have either multiple channels, like this one, each one fully customisable with different tones and effects, or perhaps only one channel but with a choice of dozens of emulations of renowned amplifiers from many different manufacturers. Probably the most modern thing in the house.

The theory seems to be that as long as a man is a failure he is one of God's children, but that as soon as he succeeds he is taken over by the Devil. H.L Mencken.

Went into Hull to look for the recently installed fountains as one of Hull's city of culture events. I thought I might as well put it in the comp.

I`m away for a week from tomorrow and not expecting to have internet access. In the unlikely event that I do well others may have to do the honours. Now I am off to play a bowls match in the pouring rain with no waterproofs. Why did I start this hobby?  :uglystupid2:
