CHAT THREAD - HUMOUR.

The subject this week is HUMOUR. I had the idea when I saw a dog whose facial expression made me laugh, but you might see humour in a street scene, a child's antics, a moment during a sport event, a table-top setup, people sharing a joke - anywhere really, candid or posed.

No restrictions on PP except that the humour must not rely solely on the PP.

Pictures to be taken between now, 19th September 2015 to 23:59 Sunday 27th September 2015 .
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 28th September 2015.
Poll will be up Tuesday 29th September 2015.
Winner to be announced Saturday 5th October 2015.

I went out for a quick breath of fresh air and exercise yesterday afternoon - just a circuit of our local wood, and got to wondering if perhaps I'd set too difficult a topic for this challenge. Just then I noticed something which made me smile - this!



Honestly, that's exactly as I found it, but obviously created by another walker. And in fact it proved quite a challenge to make a decent photo of it because the feathers were so very much brighter than everything else and I really needed to avoid burning out these small details. I don't intend to enter a challenge which I set, but this would certainly have fitted it.

You really should enter if you have a suitable picture - it's well known that most of us set a topic with no idea what to do for it - so don't be shy!
