CHAT thread weekly competition 11-19th July Subject: FLORA dead or alive

Chat Thread.

An easy one this one: Flora, dead or alive, and I don't mean the girl Flora, nor the margarine, but flowers.
Single, multiple, in abundance, alive and growing or dead and desiccated. From the sumptuous rose macro, to the poor daisies in H's dry noodle lawn. Arranged or disorganised; in short, I hope to see a lot of different interpretations of the brief.

No restrictions on PP, so let the creative juices flow, if you feel so inclined.

Pictures to be taken between now, 11th July 2015 to 23:59 Sunday  19th July 2015 .
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 20th July 2015.
Poll will be up Tuesday 21st July 2015.
Winner to be announced Saturday 25th July 2015.

Post a topic on the Sunday (or sooner) following your declared win
Create an entries thread
Create a chat thread
Create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.

Struggling with this.

I was hoping to find some beautifully decaying flowers, but of course, I haven't come across any. (And haven't got the time to go looking for them.)

I definitely do not want a 'normal' flower photograph, as others are much better at that.

I've now narrowed it down to two possibilities, and will have to make up my mind soon.
