CHAT thread for the 'Breakfast' weekly competition, from 21 October - 28 October 2013

Following on from my 'Still Life' entry with the egg, I have opted for the theme 'Breakfast'. This can be anything from where your breakfast comes from to what's on your plate. Hens, cows, supermarkets, juice, bacon sandwiches, people eating, people preparing, the sky's the limit.

Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday 21 October to 23:59pm Sunday 28 October 2013.

Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 29 October 2013.
Poll will be up Tuesday 30th October.

Winner to be announced Saturday 2 November.

The Rules for the weekly competition are:-

By entering you agree to take responsibility to:
post a topic on the Sunday following your declared win
create an entries thread
create a chat thread
create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.

Risky. I'd have gone for something totally different, in the hope the last competition would be quickly forgotten.

Plenty of breakfast examples in the 'fork and egg' link in the other thread; best to make sure, to avoid those.

Yes breakfast is important, almost as important as sleep and coffee.

I 'egg'spect some nice entries, so lets all 'crack' on and 'whisk' up some good images and I promise not to 'poach' anyone else's shot. My head's a bit 'scrambled' this morning, but I have my thinking cap on.

I'm hoping to see eggless entries. There's been too much focus on eggs lately.

I know a lovely, sweet looking cow, but sadly I can not go out at the moment.

A nice porker might also do the trick, as the cornfileds are not at their best at this time of year.

Jinky manages to 'do' photographical puns, which is even more remarkable than wordplay.
