Good to see a pair of dippers have stuck out the dried up river (which is now full again - it was dried out for a few months!   :() - though I guess with the mild weather food's not been a problem

Not totally convinced by this  - I couldn't get close enough (I had Dog in tow who doesn't really do patient bird stalking - well, that's my excuse anyway!) plus I've added a semi-vignette as the image seemed to suggest one

Works OK - i like the composition. Know what it's like having a dog in tow - I missed a Goldeneye skimming across the water, unusually in range of my 300mm on monday!
