Dropped in to post my entry having forgotten it had to be in last night!!! :-[

Never mind I have voted now anyway. Some nice shots

Lovely picture though Paul. Warms the cockles of my heart seeing someone shut a cat out in the rain.

Ours is still as mental as ever. Scared of, in no particular order, vacuum cleaners, bin bags, cotton wool pads, ironing boards and his own shadow. He's not too sure about magpies either. But at least we do let him in the house.

Is over the top editing allowed for the weekly competition on CC?

I just uploaded a still life that I did for the comp 'on the other site,' (which must surely win, judging  by the reactions on Flickr! Bet it doesn't though). I often take close ups, and I often do some heavy editing, but I never know how far I can go for the competition on CC.

Can someone enlighten me?

Reinardina, as far as I'm concerned go as far as you want with the editing until you get the shot the way you want it. The only caveat to that is if the one setting the theme makes some restrictions on what can or cannot be edited/post processed.

So go for it!!!!

Sorry Howard. Well done to you too of course! You actually got my vote; I was too afraid, you might come after me, if I didn't.

Thanks Mike. I was never quite sure, as most people on this site are 'proper photographers' while, what I sometimes do, is more akin to artistry.

So be prepared for some over the top stuff! Depending on the subject and restrictions of course.
