I see 7dayshop.com are having a sale http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/big_winter_sale.php?&r=XSF

Might be the odd bargain there if you look hard enough.

Only the 7dayshop AA rechargable 2900ma batteries is all that is interesting me.
Just soo good

Mick

Their batteries are really good. I have some older 2400 which we use in the Fuji S692z and they last really well.  I might invest in some 2900's when they come back in stock.  ;)

Cathus

Thanks for the heads up, got my regular order of  batteries and a few 120 films

Just ordered a 77mm filter adaptor ring, an 8gb cf card and a box of 40 duracell ultras for my trip.
BOOZE!!! Helping ugly people have sex.

7dayshop Rechargeable Ni-Mh Batteries - AA Cell Size (2900mAh) - MEGA VALUE 16 Pack! (4 x 4 packs)  just found this which is a great deal if you need AA rechargables.  16 for 14.99

Don't try to buy them from their ebay shop though, as clicking that button takes you to a 0 items found page.  ;)

Cathus

I see their delivery times haven't improved, my order took about 10 days, such a shame because their prices and selection is quite reasonable.

Garry that's true, but I never buy anything needed in a hurry from them.  It can be worth the wait sometimes.  ;)

Cathus

Oh, I'm well used to their delays. I usually bulk buy my batteries and CD/DVDs from them. it's such a shame, if they upped their game on delivery times they'd be a cracking outfit. (but I suppose their prices might rise)

Mick

I'll see how long these take to arrive, I bit the bullet and ordered that value pack of 16 x 2900ma batteries on Friday night, http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=112945

According to the order history they were showing as dispatched on Sunday.

In the past months I have ordered 2 lots of the 40 packs and they were with me within 4 days.

Don't suppose four days is too bad tbh.  I'd be happy with that.

Any reason you use Alkaline rather than NIMH batteries Alf?  Just curious, as they do work out more expensive.

No reason at all Mick. In fact I never considered comparing the 2. I just seen the offer and sent for them.
Will look and compare next time I need some. The grandkids gadgets and them daft air fresheners seem to eat them up.

ABERS

Remember Mr Osbourne in his infinite wisdom is about to shut the door on the VAT concession on items costing less than £15 that the Channel Islands presently enjoy. >:(
