When I was a Football photographer every photograph taken during  matches was the copyright of the club, Premier League and the FA. We had to sign contracts and abide by the rules or suffer the consequences. Now Man Utd have some large pictures outside the ground that anyone could and do photograph themselves. With a little bit of photoshopping to remove the screws holding them to the wall and a few marks here and there you have a reasonable copy. Probably better than what is available in their shop.
