Hi!

I'm looking to buy Elements 9 as cheap as possible and see that there are a few offers on Amazon for second hand stuff.

Anyone know what happens with the licensing agreements with Adobe?
Does the seller have to cancel or something?

Or does the PC blow up when you try to install the software  :-\

Found the answer I was looking for on the Adbove site

http://www.adobe.com/de/support/service/transowner.html

However, looking through a German forum, it seems there's a difference if the SW was dowloaded or bought as a CD.
I don't think I'll risk it ...

Sometimes, but not always, the software hasn't been registered but you have to check this out before you buy. I brought Adobe Photoshop 6 for half price, £300 instead of £650 and didn't have a problem registering it on Adobe's website. Also brought Adobe Acrobat 5 and QuarkXPress 5 at the same time,  which were both unregistered for £800. Didn't have a problem with these either.
