I think Gil was also banned as was Flake.

It's not complicated, it just doesn't work - Full stop.

Stan always finds a way back in...you just have to pick up on the clues to guess who's behind a certain pseudonym. They could make it a competition for members to guess

Chris Patterson (shelfy) got himself banned too - for profanity I think - I mean, shelfy and a bit of bad language, who'd have thought it? The site lost a lot of humour when he got fired.

I must have missed the whole 'Stan' thing. Don't know who that is or what was going on there. But I can be incredibly dull sometimes.

Reading posts like this is the only time I think about PR. But I have to say, I do miss some of the banter from the old days with DCM. I am not very good with names, but I remember a Yorkshireman with the avatar of a fierce Viking and the Seahorse (GIL?) who supplied me with a daily dose of humour. Some people actually got married thanks to the site and loads of friends were made. Those were the days that JR was offering tuition for minimal costs. (I was goin to say a tuppence but that would be unfair LOL)  Yes, I often think back about DCM with fond memories. I stopped buying the magazine when they took the nice oversize down for the second time to the normal magazine size. The only sites I now look at are CC and PhotoPing for nostalgic reasons.

The viking from many years ago was Brian Waugh [known for his fondness for chocolate raisins!] The seahorse, I think, was Rik Moncur

I don't think shelfy was banned, but left after his rude but very funny picture was removed.

  Yes. When Shelfy left a lot of the sparkle went, he went off to live on the west coast of Ireland I seem to remember.
          But FLAKE....BANNED.... with her (His/whatever.) encyclopedic knowledge of...well everything!

And whatever happend to Alan Ingham, KeithT and Veggiesosage.....I miss the advice and constructive comments that Alan and Keith used to give especially to newcomers like I was at the time, and I miss Veggies wit once you got to know his posts you realised he was just one of those guys with a sarcastic sense of humour but was never nasty as I remember....there was a couple of others as well whose names completely escape me at the moment...
