This week the topic is THE EPITOME OF COOL
You need to find and photograph something that people regard as COOL/STYLISH/ICONIC whether you 'personally' think that it is or not

Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday Monday 09 August to Sunday 15th August.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 16th August.
Poll will be up Tuesday 17th August  until 23.59pm Friday 20th August.
Winner to be announced Saturday 21st August (winner should post the new topic no later than 23.59 Sunday 22nd August).

The Rules for the weekly competition are...

By entering you agree to take responsibility to
post a topic on the Sunday following your declared win
create an entries thread
create a chat thread
create a poll for that weeks comp and declare the winner on the Saturday
(if for any reason there is a problem and no subject is posted by the winner by Monday night admin will advise second place winner to post the topic asap, do the poll etc)

In case of a tie, the first entry posted wins.

Editing limits to be specified by the person choosing the competition subject, if nothing is mentioned then there is no limit to editing allowed.

The only thing cool this week is the weather!

I was hoping to get to the Leica shop in Holborn this week to get a shot of some sort but had to go for this one. My sons Dr Martens with his Converse All stars old cool  against new cool

Crikey - this was difficult!  I've spent the week showing visitors the depths of the Cotswolds and there wasn't much cool stuff going on there, but who knows, "onion goggles" may be considered iconic in the future

It was raining and very cool meeting these chaps who, along with Daffy Duck were my childhood heroes. Any one who lived in Birmingham will remember the Jacey cinema which showed cartoons all day.
