Anyone got info on Wireless romote controls. Been looking at one called JJC. Canon L5 seems a very high price at over 300 quid and the JJC looks good but price is really low at 30 - 40 quid. There are one or two others but specs seem lower than the JJC at higher prices.

Not been able to find many reviews.

John,

Saw the JJC remote on Amazon and have sent for it. £30.00 seems a bargain Will let you all know how it fares. .

Been trying to get some good shots of a pair of Bullfinches, both male and female. They fly as soon as they see you even at 10 metres. Wireless control at this price has got to be the way to go at least for now.

Wireless Remote Controller was delivered whilst I was on holiday and yes it works well. Tried a couple of times and will get back later when I've used it more.

Should be better than a cable release and is very much cheaper. The receiver which is plugged into the camera can also be used as a cable release. The transmitter can be used to control camera in two ways by a three way switch. Position one will allow control of focus and shutter release. Position two is the off setting and position three is for bulb and timer settings. So after setting the camera up with shutter, aperture, ISO etc; stand up to 100 metres away; even around corners with the transmitter, press one button to focus then the shutter button. Great for wild life and self portraits or groups.

Now.......where's that elusive Kingfisher.

Got mine from Amazon but here's another.

Very pleased with the remote and all work well. Battery life is a little low but quick to recharge.
