I'm not sure why it's called that, but from what I've read Adblue is just a tradename registered by the German car manufacturers association. I think you'll find the same stuff under different names as well. It's what they call a (DEF) = Diesel Exhaust Fluid.
Just don't let the tank become empty, although I think you can carry on driving when it runs out, it won't let you restart it until you fill up. Not sure if that applies to all vehicles using the system.
