I saw a neat ad the other day where each image had a 'coca cola' bottle in it. It got me thinking, and this is my inspiration for this weeks competition. However I have made it a little broader for those of you who don't drink coke.
The theme is "Beer, Wine or Soft Drink?"
Any interpretation of the theme will be accepted, be it still life, a crowd at the pub, a clever image using a coca cola bottle, the interpretation is open to your imagination.
No restrictions on Post Processing.
Pictures to be taken between 00.01am Monday 13th January to 23:59 Sunday 19th January, 2014.
Pictures to be posted in the entries thread no later than 23.59pm Monday 20 January 2014.
Poll will be up Tuesday 21stth January, 2014.
Winner to be announced Saturday 25th January, 2014.

I normally don't make plans for competitions, I always hope something may turn up, and it normally does.

ok, stranger image taken. Though not very adventurous and nothing like a good enough entry.
I'm good at drinking beer, and that leaves me no time to take photos of it.

I know i've not been to active in this competition - but this is one that leaves me as flat as a bottle of fizzy that has had the lid off for 3 or more days...
But i do wish every one well and look forward to voting on it...

Nothing from me this week, camera is buggered and in repairers, wont operate the auto focus on the lens ?????? :(

Cost will be whatever as it has to be fixed but a mate is selling his not so used 7D so got that as a back up if mine is out of the question money wise. If it is then it is going for a long walk off a short pier if you get my meaning.

First preview I attended organised by the council, and sadly no nibbles and no free drinks. Very disappointing!
Light wasn't too good either, so the photos are so-so at the very best. Have to see if I can do something with them.

Chris, got a 7D now, that's the one that has gone wrong, mate is selling his 7D as well so if mine is totally stuffed I will buy his, will have to see what the outcome is, hopefully not too bad.
Will try and get something with the iPhone for the comp but that's a bit of a long shot.

I reckon every picture tells a story of some kind, but people perceive things differently

To a degree yes put for me it means someone juast cant be botheted to use a bin because they just think someone else will pick up the mess. Which Is a story in itself

I'm quite partial to the occasional English beer - I was much heartened this week when the local supermarket got Spitfire and Hobgoblin back in stock. My absolute favourite though is Budwar, Czech lager, just love that taste. My thoughts on US and Antipodean beers are unprintable . . but they are redeemed by their more than reasonable wines, even if they do cheat sometimes.

Agree about Budvar. Very nice. Enjoyed this very much on a recent visit to Prague.
My hubby loves real ale - but he's doing 'dry January' and hasn't touched alcohol since new years eve. We were in a real ale pub on Saturday and he as drinking lime and soda, with a face like a slapped bum! haha

In fact I think that all the image are clever this time around, Its nice to see that people have had a go, or tried something different. Going to be a hard choice.
