Got a trackpad for my Mac, as a birthday present! It's great, might not go back to a mouse after this.

Ordered Adobe 6 upgrade Sunday evening and it arrived today. Installed without problems. 

Now just have to learn about all the new tools.

Got a Rollei battery charger from a place in Newent in Gloucestershire in the post this morning. Put my old Rollie 6002 battery on charge for a couple of hours, the first time for at least 23 years, with fingers crossed, not daring that it would hold the charge.

Put it back in the camera and fired the shutter 20 times and everything worked ticketyboo. Just hope I'm not being too previous in my delight!

I've found a place in Dorset that reconditions nicad batteries so if it all goes t*ts up there will be hope of a resurrection!

Must get up to Silverprint to get some film developer and fixer and run a few rolls of 120 through the camera. B+W of course.

Last night at the Croydon Camera club meeting they  showed a slideshow of the Surrey Photographic Alliance exhibition and during it I noticed (in amongst some fantastic shots and some okayish) a certain Mr Abercrombie's shot had been commended.

Went to RIAT at Fairford today - fantastic day - and got one or 3000+ photo's!

I only went the once, years ago; it was a boiling hot day and apart from the captive audience price of cold drinks it was a wonderful thing to visit.

I wasn't in the actual show - but a farmers field behind - so the actual show was over our heads - and further away - I wonder what they actually saw because at times a 400mm lens wasn't long enough!

Working on an 8 hour stay, if my maths are correct, that works out at 1 shot at least every 10 seconds. Busy, busy, busy!

Mind you maths was never my strong subject.

Pardon? I've gone deaf!

Yep, it was loud - Vulcan was not on full power, so not as loud as it can be - but some of the others made up for it!

I was running 6FPS on the MKIII and 3 on the 5D - so a few bursts and it soon tots up
