Picked up an external Blu-Ray burner for about $70 Cdn. from my local Staples. Now to get some burnable DVD's and copy my RAWs over.

Did a photo shoot for Preston North End FC last week for their new away kits for next season. They are very secretive about this sort of thing and we were sworn to keep it that way until the press release today.

The main sponsor on the shirt insisted that the female model did not appear to sexy so we also had to wait for their approval before publication.

Anyway that's what made me feel good today, having seen the job officially completed on the Club website and local press.

Not a paying job but just been asked to do a behind the scenes shoot for Chris Lloyd shoot going on in Leeds at a major gallery. He is in for two days shooting the rich , famous and not so famous willing to pay and I am providing the shots for a blog / story with Exposure Leeds ( an offshoot of the Leeds Flickr group) which has quite a following now. Should be fun:

getting a facebook message from my honourary niece in Ireland who's getting married in October asking if I can do some morning shots for her, they've got the photog booked for the ceremony and reception but she wants me to do the "bride getting ready shots" very honoured to have been asked. and i've said yes as it's a lot less pressure than doing the actual wedding itself (or at least I think it is  )

Actually yesterday, but got my MKIII back from Canon after going in for repair last week when the shutter stopped working. Posted last wednesday returned yesterday. Brilliant service from CPS. 

Just in time for my trip to Spa tomorrow to watch the racing.
